Terms of service

Before accepting any kind of commission, I require that the commissioner reads and accepts my full terms of service. Failure to read does not mean you're exempt from my rules. Breaking my terms of service could result in you getting blacklisted from my services in the future. Please note that:
I retain the right to refuse any commission, customer, or character design.
I retain the right to cancel and refund commissions at any time.

Payment

  • Payment is via Paypal Invoice.

  • Payment after the sketch is approved.

  • I am open to discussing payment plans for large commission types. I will only accept payment plans on amounts larger than $75. A down-payment of an agreed amount must be paid on the day that the commission is accepted. If you don't keep up to date with payments or fail to follow up, I hold the right to cancel the commission.

  • I will only start the commission after receiving the full payment for the commission.

  • I don't offer refunds by the request of the buyer as all sales are final. If for whatever reason I'm unable to complete the commission for my own reasons, I will offer a refund.

  • Filing for a chargeback will get you permanently blacklisted from future transactions. Filing for a chargeback means you forfeit the rights to the piece, and I may remake and sell to whomever I like.

Process and changes

  • To streamline the commission process, I mostly communicate and send updates through Discord.

  • Once receiving the payment for the commission in full, I will begin to work on your commission. When presented with the sketch(es) for your piece, you may ask for edits before I work on the next stage.

  • You can ask for minor changes throughout the whole commission process. Major changes and making changes after parts of the commission are approved may end up costing extra. For example, if you have approved the lineart of a piece and I move onto the colouring and shading, asking for edits on the already approved lineart may cost extra.

  • I will not take commissions with a deadline unless fully discussed at least a month before the deadline. You may not impose deadlines after I have accepted a commission.

  • You may ask for updates and WIPs at any point during the commission process. I keep my trello up to date as well and it always displays exactly where I am on your commission and where you are in my queue.

  • I will ask for approval between each stage of larger commissions. For example, if I finish lining I won't begin colouring until you have approved the lineart.

Usage and rights

  • You can upload the finished piece to any website as long as you credit me appropriately on the site you've uploaded to- for my @s please see the home page .

  • I retain the right to post (or not post) my finished commissions on any of my social medias at any time.

  • You aren't allowed to remove/edit/crop out my watermarks or signature. You also aren't allowed to draw over or edit my work.

  • All rights to the art I create, including commissions, belong exclusively to me. You may neither sell nor exchange my art in any form, physical or digital, print or NFT, under any circumstances unless you have my express written permission AND you have paid for the rights to do so. You may not use my art in any published material, even free material, on any online or physical marketplace.

  • In addition, any art I create is my own. Unless exclusive rights are purchased I retain all rights to use and monetize my art in any way I choose. This includes the sale of prints, online sales, marketing, published materials, or any other merchandise.
